Drawing Inbox support

Drawing Inbox is run by the people who built it. Write to us and a person answers, usually within the working day.

When you write, tell us

• Your company's name, and whether you are in the office or on site.
• The job number and drawing number, if it is about a particular sheet.
• What you expected and what happened instead. A screenshot helps.

Answers to the usual questions

I'm on site. How do I get in?

Your office adds your mobile number on its Team page. Open the app or app.drawinginbox.com, enter that number, and type the code from the text message. After the first time the phone can use Face ID or a fingerprint. If the app says your number is not on any team, ask your office to add it.

Someone has left. How do I stop their phone seeing drawings?

On the Team page, remove them. Every phone they signed in on stops that moment, including one that unlocks with Face ID.

A drawing is showing the wrong revision.

The register shows the revision the office filed last. Open the row's history to see what was filed and when. If the office filed the wrong sheet, filing the right one replaces it, and the old one moves to history stamped superseded.

Where are our drawings kept?

On our own server in the EU (Helsinki), over HTTPS, backed up every night. Only your company's people and the site team your office added can see them. The privacy policy has the detail.

How do we cancel?

Any month, from the Team page or by email, with effect from the end of the paid period. You then have 30 days to export everything, the register and each job, before it is deleted.

Can I have my data removed?

Yes. Your office removes you on its Team page, or email us at the address above and we will do it.
